Charlie Sheen filed for divorce Monday because he didn't want Brooke Mueller yakking about it on her upcoming reality TV show ... TMZ has learned.

Sources connected with the couple have told TMZ for months ... they would file for divorce as a united front.? As we have told you for a long time, Charlie and Brooke signed divorce and property settlement papers back in May and held on to them ... waiting for the right moment.

But apparently Brooke's reality show didn't sit well with Charlie and he wanted to control the situation and get "a fresh start."? Charlie's people insist he told Brooke in advance he was filing, but it was not the united front they agreed to last May.

Brooke on Charlie: "we are separated.

Brooke Mueller casually dumped a nugget little information queried about Charlie Sheen Hotel antics - the couple is separated.

Brooke said yesterday the pair photog live together more and when asked whether or not she was worried Charlie cheating on her, she replied: "" Charlie can do whatever he wants... I'm just saying, Charlie cheating on moi.Nous have separated the. ""

As we reported back in June, Charlie and Brooke of documents establishing that what gets in the event where they get divorced.

Perhaps time to learn from these documents drawer.

Capri Anderson prepares to submit a legal bomb on Charlie Sheen - TMZ has learned that porn star plans to continue Charlie for events which crashed during its hotel collapse in New York.

Sources tell TMZ... Anderson believes that Charlie had acted for crazy in his hotel room at The Hotel Plaza on Tuesday morning - she felt his life was in danger... and she also felt like she was held in room against her will.

As we previously reported, Charlie tore room separated - busting on a Chair and causing damage to several points hotel .Capri eventually locked herself in the bathroom and hotel security call.

Capri says that charlie, also threatened in a hotel room, even if it makes no mention of this in NYC cops when they asked about the incident.

FYI - law enforcement sources tell us officials have no intention to file charges against Charlie.

Sources familiar with the situation say Sheen was rockin' ' a Patek Philippe 5970... a watch an expert tells us is always "crazy demand" with collectors.

TMZ has obtained a photo of Sheen wear watch her dinner with Capri Anderson a few hours before he lost the clock.

We said, "" so few people have... and so few people trade... that the watch will return at some point. ""

One explains why Sheen was willing to tear her bedroom to find.

Images clearly show Charlie and Capri linking - with the help of good ole fashioned alcohol.

And alcohol does not come cheap - Charlie suspended for two bottles of Grand Vin de Chateau Latour 1959... ranging from $5,900 a pop.

Then, when you're in the midst of a $ 98 million TV agreement...Great wine hurts only your Pocket as a bottle of two-Buck Chuck.

TMZ has obtained photographs of the city of New York That Charlie Sheen hotel room trashed Tuesday morning, as well as information on what happened inside.

We said fuel alcohol funny's rampage began at a restaurant called Daniel, near of the Hotel Plaza where staying Charlie.Il, three other men and five women had a reservation from 8 H 00 a.m. Tuesday evening and Charlie drank heavily.Denise Richards, we have said, went to the dinner but remain relatively quickly once things are wild.

Charlie brought one of the women in the her hotel room, and shortly after people on its soil heard what they say is screaming and swearing of to the salle.Charlie was calling a woman prostitute and other names, when people began to complain.

We told Charlie sheared curtains, tables swamped, damaged a luminaire and broke the glass, which has cut its open.

All... a real mess.
